Welcome

Welcome to my art gallery of unique paintings and drawings and visit my portfolio to discover my work for commissions, prints and originals, a blend of seriousness with a

touch of playfulness of my personality.

My artwork

I paint in watercolour and oil, contrasting vibrant colours reflecting natural vivid real-world scenes.

I paint many landscapes of Scotland, Iceland and Spain ,of mountains, lochs and coastal scenes with many of my paintings referencing Architectural context.

My portraits paintings are of family friends and people I have met and studied. I also create still life from familiar objects and flowers, animals and family pets and abstract paintings real and surreal.

Photography and my art

I  photograph many scenes and subjects in Scotland and abroad to provide great reference material as I embark on a new painting.
